We don't we sell ORI to the general public because we're committed to providing our partners with an exclusive benefit for their group members or patrons. We work with groups and affiliates that share our passion for human-powered outdoor recreation, responsible access to recreational sites, and adventure.

ORI is underwritten by Security National Life Insurance Company, located at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City, Utah. Maybe it's because of our surroundings, but we're an insurance company that simply doesn't subscribe to the idea that Snow, Mountain and Paddle enthusiasts are unacceptable risks. Sure, every time anyone goes into the mountains or into the water the outcome is uncertain. But we believe the risks are acceptable because the rewards can be priceless. Did you know that scuba divers have had access to affordable accident insurance for decades? Well now its time that Snow Mountain and Paddle enthusiasts got fair deal too.

For those enrolled in a health insurance plan, ORI accident benefits can be used to pay the increasingly high cost sharing components of a health plan (deductibles, co-insurance amounts, etc.). ORI coverage is also available to those without any health coverage, but keep in mind that ORI is limited accident-only coverage and does not pay benefits for sickness or disease.
